Mykonos Beaches

Location: 3 km north of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Agios Stefanos is a small and and less crowded beach during the whole summer season. Its location protects the beach from the winds and there are some water sport facilities as well.

Location: 12 km east of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Divounia is a small and quiet coast away from the crowded beaches of Mykonos. This is a nice secluded cove to relax and enjoy some privacy, ideal for couples.

Location: 10 km east of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Ftelia is a very peaceful beach on the north side of Ano Mera village. The strong wind that blows there makes this beach ideal for windsurfers.

Location: 5 km north of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: This is one of the few pebbled beaches on Mykonos(divided in 2 coves, 1 pebbled and 1 sandy), this beach is perfectly located for total isolation, as well as to enjoy one of the beautiful sunsets of Greece.

Location: 12 km east of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Kalafatis is the most famous beach for water sport activities. This beach has very soft sand and crystal clear waters.

Location: 14 km south east of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Lia is a beautiful sandy and quiet beach, located next to Kalafatis tenement, with exotic and crystal clear green-blue waters.

Location: 10 km east of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Located between Kalafatis and Elia beach, Kalo Livadi is fully organized beach with exotic coloured waters and a very popular beach among families.

Location: 6 km west of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Kapari is one of the few non-organized beaches of Mykonos Island. It is located nearby the Chora, but far from the crowded beaches of the south.

Location: 3 km south of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: A very famous beach amonf windsurfers, due to its strong winds. However, when the wind is calmed this beach offers relaxing moment and beautiful crystal clear waters.

Location: 1 km south of Mykonos Town (Chora) Description: Megali Ammos (meaning big sand) is a lovely, sandy and non-organized beach within walking distance from Chora, therefore it gets quite busy in summer as it is the nearest beach from Chora.
